But see Recruiting section below
The X-Men are an elite team of mutants who have been hand-picked by Charles Xavier to act as an unwavering line of defense in this tumultuous world. They are highly skilled fighters who have been trained extensively in the use of their powers. Their fight is for Xavier's dream of peaceful coexistence between human and mutant, and they will regularly put their lives on the line to protect a world that hates and fears them.
They are a small and closely-knit team, consisting only of the best of the best. Generally, members are found amongst the most promising young students at Xavier's School and the Xavier Institute.
The X-Men are an extremely elite and secret organization of mutant superheroes. The members are handpicked by Xavier himself, usually from amongst the teachers and older students at the X-Mansion. Characters must agree with Xavier's dream of peaceful human-mutant coexistence and be willing to put their lives on the line defending it, even when it comes to protecting those who openly hate and fear them.
The X-Men cannot be applied directly into: players must attain a minimum level of Brownie Points, while the characters must ICly prove themselves to be capable and competent fighters. Interested players should create a character, either teacher or student, at the School or Institute. Potential X-Men will generally be recruited from those ranks. Preference will be given to students who have proven themselves in the New Mutants.
The X-Men as a team do not exist yet, which is why players cannot apply directly into this team. This team will come into being ICly in the future once things have developed a little more on the game and there's a pool from which to recruit.
Please note that Brownie Points alone will not 'earn' you a spot on the team. Your character will ICly also need to show themselves to be a fit with the philosophy of the team.
