Bad things happen to good people; it's a truism of the comics, and a truism of real life. That said, there are some bad things which remain uncomfortable topics for discussion as for roleplay. Rape is one of these topics.
While we're not interested in censoring people's roleplay or in telling people what they can or cannot play, rape and torment of a sexual nature are two items which we feel we must step in on and say that's 'not okay'.
There are a number of reasons for this, including varying ages of players; however, the end result is the same. Depictions of rape and graphical sexual torture should not be brought into play, even off camera. If it is something which has the potential of being brought into general play, it remains verboten. If in doubt as to whether your RP verges on this, please contact staff before bringing it into general play.
